Please read this policy carefully before subscribing to our services or purchasing hardware products.

1. Policy Overview

This policy applies to all products and services offered by menuyantra, including:

  • Software Subscriptions: Monthly and annual subscription plans
  • Hardware Products: POS systems, tablets, printers, and accessories
  • Additional Services: Setup, training, and customization services

We aim to process all refund and replacement requests fairly and promptly in accordance with applicable Indian consumer protection laws.

2. Software Subscription Refunds

A. Free Trial Period

If menuyantra offers a free trial period (typically 7-30 days), you may cancel at any time during the trial without charge. No refund is necessary as no payment has been processed.

B. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee (First-Time Subscribers)

First-time subscribers to paid plans are eligible for a full refund if they request cancellation within 7 days of their initial subscription payment, provided:

  • The request is made within 7 days of the first payment
  • This is your first paid subscription with menuyantra
  • You provide a valid reason for the refund request
  • There is no evidence of policy violations or abuse of the service

Note: This 7-day guarantee applies only to the first subscription. Renewals and subsequent subscriptions are subject to the standard refund policy below.

C. Monthly Subscription Refunds

Monthly subscriptions are generally non-refundable. However, refunds may be considered in the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Service Outage: Extended service downtime (more than 72 consecutive hours) caused by menuyantra
  • Technical Issues: Critical bugs that prevent core functionality and cannot be resolved within 7 business days
  • Billing Errors: Duplicate charges or incorrect billing amounts
  • Unauthorized Charges: Charges made without your authorization

Refunds, if approved, will be prorated based on unused service days.

D. Annual Subscription Refunds

Annual subscriptions are eligible for partial refunds under the following conditions:

  • Request made within 30 days of initial purchase (50% refund)
  • Request made within 31-90 days of purchase (25% refund)
  • No refunds are provided after 90 days from the initial purchase date

Important: Refund amounts exclude any discounts applied (e.g., promotional or annual discount pricing). The refund calculation is based on the equivalent monthly rate.

E. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

  • You will retain access until the end of your current billing period
  • No automatic refund will be issued for the remaining time
  • Auto-renewal will be disabled
  • You may export your data before the subscription expires

3. Hardware Products - Returns & Replacements

A. Return Window

Hardware products (POS devices, tablets, printers, etc.) may be returned within 15 days of delivery for a full refund, provided:

  • The product is in original, unused condition
  • All original packaging, accessories, and documentation are included
  • No physical damage, scratches, or signs of use
  • Return shipping is arranged within 15 days of delivery

B. Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive a defective or damaged product, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Clear photos/videos of the defect or damage
  • Order number and invoice details
  • Description of the issue

We will offer a free replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs, at our discretion.

C. Warranty and Repairs

All hardware products come with a manufacturer's warranty (typically 12 months). During the warranty period:

  • Manufacturing defects will be repaired or replaced free of charge
  • Physical damage, water damage, or misuse is not covered
  • Warranty claims require proof of purchase
  • Shipping costs for warranty repairs may apply after 30 days

D. Wrong Product Delivered

If you receive the wrong product, please contact us immediately. We will arrange for the correct product to be delivered at no additional cost and provide a prepaid return label for the incorrect item.

E. Restocking Fee

Returns of opened but non-defective hardware (after 15 days or if packaging is damaged) may be subject to a 15% restocking fee, evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

4. Eligibility Criteria for Refunds

To be eligible for a refund, you must meet the following conditions:

  • Request submitted within the applicable timeframe
  • Valid proof of purchase (invoice, order ID, or email confirmation)
  • No violations of our Terms and Conditions or Acceptable Use Policy
  • Account in good standing with no outstanding disputes or chargebacks
  • Cooperation with our support team during the review process

Refunds will be denied if: There is evidence of abuse, fraud, or violation of our policies; you have previously abused our refund policy; or you fail to provide required documentation.

5. Refund Request Process

Step 1: Submit a Request

  • Include: Order details, reason for refund, supporting documentation

Step 2: Review Process

Our team will review your request within 3-5 business days and may contact you for additional information.

Step 3: Approval and Processing

If approved:

  • Subscription refunds: Processed within 7-10 business days
  • Hardware returns: Refund issued within 5-7 business days after receiving the returned item
  • Refunds are credited to the original payment method
  • Bank processing may take an additional 3-5 business days

Step 4: Confirmation

You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed. Please allow time for your bank or card issuer to reflect the credit.

6. Non-Refundable Items and Services

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Customization Services: Custom development, integrations, or bespoke features
  • Training Services: Completed training sessions or onboarding services
  • Setup Fees: One-time setup or installation charges
  • Third-Party Services: Charges from payment gateways, SMS providers, or delivery partners
  • Promotional/Discounted Plans: Special promotional subscriptions (unless stated otherwise)
  • Expired Subscriptions: Subscriptions that have already expired
  • Data Export Fees: Fees charged for bulk data exports
  • Hardware Used Beyond Return Window: Hardware used for more than 15 days

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

We strongly encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Chargebacks can result in:

  • Immediate suspension of your account
  • Loss of access to all data and services
  • Additional fees to recover chargeback costs
  • Permanent ban from using menuyantra services

If you file a chargeback, we reserve the right to dispute it and provide evidence of service delivery to your bank.

8. Exchanges and Upgrades

Hardware Exchanges: Defective hardware may be exchanged for the same model within the warranty period.

Subscription Upgrades: You may upgrade your subscription plan at any time. The price difference will be prorated for the remaining billing period. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle and are not refundable.

9. International Customers

For customers outside India, refund processing times may vary depending on your bank and local regulations. Currency conversion fees and international transaction charges are non-refundable.

10. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund and Replacement Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of menuyantra after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
